Understanding recount text

1. Definition

      Teks yang menceritakan kembali kejadian atau peristiwa di masa lampau.

2. Purpose / function

      Memberikan informasi mengenai suatu kejadian pada pembaca, atau menghibur pembaca. 

3. Text structure

     1. Orientation

paragraf pembuka teks yang mengenalkan siapa tokoh yang terlibat dalam kejadian serta latar waktu dan tempat yang melatarbelakangi kejadian.

     2. series of events

          Menceritakan suatu kejadian yang telah lampau

     3. Reorientation

          Menceritakan kembali atau yang bisa digunakan untuk penutupan.

4. Types of recount

Personal recount

salah satu jenis teks yang bertujuan untuk menceritakan mengenai pengalaman pribadi yang pernah terjadi pada penulis.

 

Factual recount

cerita untuk menyajikan laporan terkait peristiwa yang terjadi berdasarkan fakta (benar-benar terjadi).

 

Imaginative recount

teks yang biasa digunakan seseorang sebagai cerita dari peristiwa imajinatif yang dialami oleh seseorang.

 

 Procedural recount

mencatat peristiwa seperti eksperimen sains atau memasak.

 

Literary recount

digunakan untuk menceritakan kembali rangkaian peristiwa dengan tujuan memberikan hiburan.

5. Expression / language components

Semua komponen yang digunakan untuk langkah awal dalam suatu sistem yang digunakan untuk menyampaikan informasi.

 Trip To A Zoo

Yesterday my family went to the zoo to see the elephant and other animal. When we got to the zoo, we went to the shop to buy some food to give to the animals.After getting the food we went to the nocturnal house where we saw birds and reptiles which only come out at night.

Before lunch we went for a ride on the elephant. It was a thrill to ride it. Dad nearly fell off when he let go of the rope. During lunch we fed some birds in the park. In the afternoon we saw the animals being fed. When we returned home we were tired but happy because we had so much fun.

 My Experience In Playing Yoyo

I used to learn to play the yo-yo because it was going viral. I play yo-yo from yo-yo models that are unresponsive or responsive. I used to really like playing the yo-yo, I even had 4 yo-yos. At that time, I thought that, wow, I want to be able to play the yo-yo like a pro player who competes in yo-yo matches. From there I also bought a yo-yo which is (in my opinion) expensive. I really like the yoyo. And one incident happened, when I was accompanying my brother when he received his report card, I left my yoyo at my sister's school. I was so sad when I got home to find that my yoyo left behind. The next day when my sister helped look for it, the yoyo had disappeared somewhere. From there, I gave up my yo-yo a bit, but I still didn't stop playing the yo-yo and tried to use the yo-yo that I had used before.
