 Understanding description text 

1.Definition

Descriptive Text is a text which says what a person or a thing is like. Its purpose is to describe and reveal a particular person, place, or thing.

2.The generic structure of descriptive text 

There are two generic structures of descriptive writing: identification and description. Identification is a part of text where the students could identify the phenomenon while description is the part where the students are able to describe parts, qualities and characteristics.

4. This is my description

Standard class room

The classroom is a place where teaching and learning takes place between teachers and students. Classrooms at SMK Negeri 4 Semarang have 37 pairs of chairs and benches.Classroom size at SMK Negeri 4 Semarang about 7 × 8 meters. There are many classrooms at SMK Negeri 4 Semarang. The location also varies, some are near the basketball court, or some are inside the school. Each classroom at SMK Negeri 4 Semarang also has at least 2 fans, sometimes some of the fans don't turn on, or it can be lit but with the help of hands. There will always be a loudspeaker in the classroom at SMK Negeri 4 Semarang, the purpose of which is to notify students of announcements.In addition to loudspeakers, the classroom also has pictures of the president and vice president accompanied by images of an eagle, Pancasila and the lyrics of the national anthem Indonesia Raya 3 Stanza. Classrooms at SMK Negeri 4 Semarang are also in a place that may be different from the others, namely underground. You can visit the room just a few steps from the SMK Negeri 4 Semarang prayer room.

English book

I have 2 English books for Lesson. The book that I use discusses material about English lessons. This book includes a variety of useful material.. The book I have has an orange cover with a picture of a human and a purple color with a picture of a human.This book is published by Curriculum and written by Herbert Puchta, Jeff Stranks and Richard

for the purple book.The orange book is published by the curriculum but the author is different, named Restu Gunawan. These two books have different sizes, one has the size of a normal textbook, and the other has a larger size but is thinner.I also use this book as a reference when making sentences in English.
